I use Tortoise Svn as Subversion tool on Windows platform and Subclipse on Linux platform. For some reason, I had to remove the subversion control over a file/folder.
The solution:
- Right click on the file/folder and goto ‘Tortoise SVN>>Export ‘
- Then export the file/folder to itself (choose the same file/folder as the export-to file/folder)
If you observe later on, all .svn-folders in all subfolders will be removed and subversion control is lost! 🙂

I did on the other hand experience several technical points the use of this website, since I experienced to reload the site many instances previous to I could get it to load correctly. I were thinking about if your web host is OK?
